When to call.
The moment you or someone you know is arrested, charged, or contacted by law enforcement. Do not wait. What you say before you have a lawyer is often what convicts you.
What to expect.
Free initial consultation for most criminal matters. Flat fee or hourly, depending on the charges. Real answers about what the case looks like — including where it is weak.
Immigration.
What it covers.
Family-based petitions, employment visas, green cards, naturalization, deportations, asylum, and appeals. Bilingual representation throughout.
When to call.
When you have received a notice from USCIS or ICE, when a family member is detained, or when you are ready to start a petition and want it done right the first time.
What to expect.
Free initial screening for many matters. Flat fee for most petitions. All consultations available in Spanish.
Family Law.
What it covers.
Custody, visitation, child support, spousal support, neglect, abuse, adoption, and modifications to existing orders.
When to call.
When a family matter can no longer be resolved between the parties, or when you are the party being sued and need a response filed on time.
What to expect.
Consultation required — no two family cases look alike. Flat fee for simple modifications; retainer for contested matters. Communication in English or Spanish.
Matrimonial / Divorce.
What it covers.
Uncontested divorces, contested divorces, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, separation agreements, and property distribution.
When to call.
When you are ready to start the process, when you have been served, or when you want a prenup drafted before a wedding.
What to expect.
Flat fee for uncontested matters. Retainer for contested. I will tell you honestly which category your matter falls into.
Landlord / Tenant.
What it covers.
Non-payment and holdover proceedings, tenant defense against eviction, lease disputes, security deposit recovery, and habitability claims.
When to call.
The day you are served with a petition, the day the sheriff posts a notice, or before you commence an action if you are a landlord who wants it done right.
What to expect.
Flat fee for most housing court appearances. Same-day response for eviction notices.
Personal Injury.
What it covers.
Auto accidents, slip and fall, premises liability, and negligence claims.
When to call.
Immediately after an accident. Statements you give an insurance adjuster before you have counsel are almost always used against you.
What to expect.
Free consultation. Contingency fee — you owe nothing unless we recover for you.
Traffic.
What it covers.
DWI, DWAI, speeding, reckless driving, suspended license, CDL violations, trucking and DOT matters, and out-of-state driver defense.
When to call.
Before your court date. A traffic ticket can affect your license, your insurance, and your job — worth getting right the first time.
What to expect.
Flat fee for most matters. Same-day response for arraignment-imminent cases.

Before signing a contract you do not fully understand, or when a dispute is heading somewhere it should not.

Wills & Estate.
What it covers.
Simple and complex wills, revocable trusts, healthcare proxies, powers of attorney, and estate administration.
When to call.
When you become a parent, when you acquire property, when a spouse or parent passes, or when your existing will no longer reflects your family.
What to expect.
Flat fee for most estate planning documents. Consultation includes an honest assessment of what you actually need — not a package deal.
Real Estate.
What it covers.
Residential closings (buyer or seller side), deed transfers, contract review, boundary disputes, and refinance representation.
When to call.
Before you sign a contract of sale, and well before your closing date.
What to expect.
Flat fee for closings. Contract review often included when I am handling the closing.
